Digital & Innovation Manager - Delivery in Bradford

We’re looking for Digital and Innovation Delivery Managers to lead our development teams acting as Scrum Master and implementing Agile ways of working. It’s a really hands on role where you’ll be expected to motivate and drive innovation.

You’ll be working with the Delivery team and Product Manager managing the workload of your team, which includes the analysis, design, development and continuous improvement of software solutions.

As a Digital & Innovation-Delivery Manager, you’ll be accountable for things like this:

• Leading on a range of Agile and Lean tools and techniques, with an ability to coach within and outside of your team

• Supporting effective financial and commercial management within the constraints of the project. You know how to monitor projected budgets against expenditure

• Solving issues and unblocking problems. You know how to drive team and set the pace, ensuring teams are working towards delivery commitments. You can engage in elements of risk management such as effectively managing and tracking the mitigation of risks

• Leading a consistent and ongoing approach to planning, forecasting, estimating, managing uncertainty, metrics and measurements, contingency planning and roadmapping

• Building and managing successful delivery teams. You understand team styles and how people work together. You can maintain, influence and motivate a team

• Leading the development of our key Digital and Technology applications

• Appraising and recommending processed for continuous improvement and Agile/DevOps strategies

• Keeping on top of the latest technologies and bringing innovation

• Developing effective relationships with stakeholders and explaining the business case for changes.

You’ll need skills and experience like this: 

• Leadership with the ability to motivate a team

• Experience of delivering cost effective and efficient solutions

• Agile and/or DevOps experience

• The ability to translate technical terminology into business language

• Ability to evaluate technology trends and their suitability for the team
