What are you going to do:
Gough and Kelly is an established, Leeds based, Security organisation which has a growing events division, covering the Yorkshire area. We are continually appointed on the strength of our sporting events credentials and are now looking for bright, enthusiastic people to join our stewarding team for the 2020 Football and Rugby season. If you are looking for a flexible, part time role please contact us! We are recruiting SIA and Safety Stewards to join our friendly, approachable event stewarding and security team.
Successful candidates will be responsible for stewarding public areas of the stadium and event venues, including hospitality areas. The pay rates for these positions are:
- Safety Steward - £8.35 per hour
- SIA Steward - £9.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- To be proactive and always seek opportunities to provide extra assistance to our event attendees
- To communicate clearly and accurately with attendees in a professional, friendly and approachable manner
- To take pride in your appearance and be immaculately presented at all times
- To be self-motivated and comfortable in a diverse range of scenarios
- To use your initiative and act in a calm manner, when necessary, to ensure attendees safety Requirements
- To work as an SIA steward you must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Outgoing personality with excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- All successful candidates will be required to attend and participate in all relevant training sessions during their work.
Previous stewarding experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Please note, this position is based on casual hours only part time
