What are you going to do:

Action for M.E. is dedicated to ending the ignorance, injustice and neglect experienced by people with M.E. Despite being the largest M.E. charity in the UK, we have a small staff team and are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Fundraising Administrator to support our planned growth and the exciting changes on the horizon. “I’d been thinking about fundraising for a while and Walk with M.E. seemed like the perfect fit. I can join in with the small amount of steps I can do, and my family and friends can be a part of it as well. Fundraising like this really helps people to realise there is something really important they can do to help.” This is feedback from Holly, who has M.E. Our unique team sponsored Walk with M.E. campaign is just one of the projects you’ll be working on when you join our team as Fundraising Administrator.

You’ll be supporting the team across a range of different fundraising streams, from community fundraising to trusts and foundations so the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload is a must. If you’d like to join the only UK charity that supports both children and adults with M.E, and help us reach even more people living with this non-visible illness.

What we offer:

  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • 4% employer pension contribution
  • Training and development opportunities

What we ask:

  • No minimum education required
  • Be able to work independently, as well as part of our creative and committed team
  • Ability to work methodically, managing and prioritising a varied workload
  • Interpersonal skills including a good telephone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Interest and enthusiasm in learning fast
  • Experience of fundraising
  • A great storyteller
