Job Title – Enterprise Architect – Connected Platforms
Location – Knutsford/Northampton/Pune

As the Architect for the Connected Platform, you will be accountable for supporting the definition of technology architecture, and the creation of the Concept/E2E Solution Designs. •          You will be creating and developing the Concept, End-to-End Solution including Functional and Technical designs, ensuring the architectural governance approvals are obtained
•          You will be creating the technology strategy, roadmaps and vision for the Connected Platform initiatives
•          You will be working in close collaboration with the Lead Architect, Solution Architects and the Technology and Business functions of the group
•          You will be maintaining and tracking technical debt as a result of any changes to target state solutions to accommodate project
•          You will be supporting evaluation of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
•          You will be designing and supporting the implementation of resilient, scalable solutions for the platform
•          You will be ensuring Technology services processes and controls are designed to comply with group policies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
•          You will be articulating and establishing best practices and anti-patterns in application of technologies in question 

•          Experience in architecting and delivering E2E solutions, including integration projects/programmes across disparate technologies, application/infrastructure integration
•          Understanding of key consideration in Secure systems & software design, Resilience and High-Availability patterns for mission-critical applications
•          Exposure of complex, distributed technologies, AWS, micro-services, messaging, APIs, Data transformation, ETL, Monitoring tools, Infrastructure and Security Designs
•          Ability to provide an excellent customer/client experience, underpinned by a lean cost base, strong controls and a culture of collaboration, innovation and high performance

•          Experience working within the banking/financial services industry as an Architect
•          Stakeholder management skills
•          Ability to present, in a clear and succinct manner, complex information to non-Technology colleagues

You will be based in our Northampton offices, in the Brackmills industrial estate. Our site is just a stone’s throw away from the city center and is easily accessible by public transport.
