You’ll be supporting a global distribution function for Capitals Markets Technology with teams located in London, New York, Prague, Pune, and Singapore, designing and delivering bespoke trading platforms across Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Money Markets, Structured Products and the Rates business lines. The teams contribute to enhancing our Market Leading BARX platform which is used globally by Institutional, Corprate and Private Wealth clients.
As a Developer, you’ll be working closely with Front Office Traders understanding new Trading requirements and playing a critical part in the development and testing of the BARX Options platform.
•Working closely with Front Office Traders to understand new Trading requirements, providing demos of ongoing deliverables for feedback during the product development lifecycle
•Working closely with Sales and Traders to understand new Client requirements up to Director and Managing Director level, providing the ability to develop and deliver those solutions
•Working closely with BAs and PMs, technical leads, QA testers and Quantitative Developers, to design, develop and deliver solutions
•Document new requirements in JIRA and progress them as deliverables within the team
•Proactively participate in the wider BARX FX technical community on strategic platform enhancement initiatives, becoming an active participant in technical discussion meetings
•Excellent Java programming skills with experience in designing and developing Swing based UI alongside REST API based micro services
•Strong stakeholder management experience as you’ll be liaising with the business to understand requirements
•Experience in working within the financial industry
•Experience in designing and developing UI in HTML5 using Javascript, React UI Frameworks with Docker deployment based pipelines in a cloud based architecture
