Job description

As a Premier Relationship Banker you will create exceptional client experience by providing excellent service, helping clients achieve their ambitions and meet their day to day banking needs. Barclays Premier Banking is a key personal banking segment within Barclays UK that delivers the best of Barclays to circa 1 million qualifying affluent clients in the UK and globally, through the provision of carefully selected and personalised benefits, rewards and service models.

• You will be inquisitive to clients financial standing and offer suitable solutions to aid the client in achieving their goals

• You will have responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients as part of a virtual team, building meaningful client relationships to help grow the business and strengthen the brand.

• You will proactively welcome and complete financial reviews of a virtual portfolio of Premier accounts, via outbound calling, with clients.

• You will be proactively managing inbound calls, collaborating with a group of other Premier Relationship Bankers, in line with contact strategy to deliver strong relationships

• You will be committed to continuously developing knowledge, skills and capability, using available tools and resources such as the Colleague Learning Curriculum and My Journey

• The ability to understand the Premier Proposition and its relevance to wider branch offering and the UK economic market

• The ability to be proactive in understanding key changes in the economy which impact Premier Clients

• A sound knowledge of Barclays specialist offerings including wealth, mortgages, business and international

• Knowledge of competitor premier banking offerings. 

• Strong stakeholder management skills and intermediate questioning techniques, in particular without face to face interaction

• The ability to build strong relationships with customers via virtual channels

• Preferred Systems Skills: Microsoft office packages and Customer Contact Tool management system

• Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns as required.

Tay House is nestled in a fantastic central city location. Our modern Glasgow Contact Centre is directly next to the M8 and a short walk from Central Station and Charing Cross train station. Tay House offers a communal coffee pod, but if you fancy nipping out we are right next to two of the main shopping streets in the city centre.
