What are you going to do:
Role
We are looking to recruit a Primary English & Maths Teacher for a fantastic client of ours. This is a permanent, part time role, looking to commence early August 2020.
The working days are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday each week therefore, the salary of £20,000 would be pro rata'd.
Your working hours would be 11.45 – 8.15pm. This means that you will have plenty of time to plan and prepare for the lessons before students start to arrive at 4pm. They also do not expect any staff members to take work home over the weekend! I
Teaching & learning: Between September and end of June, you will be teaching the curriculum through their bespoke resources. You will also need to regularly update their e-learning platform. You will be expected to mark weekly homework for your classes and provide feedback through our bespoke software (maximum of 12 children in a class).
Duties and responsibilities
- Recent and relevant experience in teaching with KS2 or equivalent level.
- Recent and relevant experience of working successfully within a school.
- Skills and experience
- Masters-level qualification or comparable learning experience and/or relevant professional qualification.
- Qualified teacher status (desirable).
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum requirements at KS2.
- Excellent subject knowledge.
- Ability to work collaboratively within the business.
- High level people skills including communication, interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
- Ability to work under own initiative, to identify work priorities and manage own work to meet targets and deadlines.
- Ability to establish positive beneficial relationships with staff & students.
- Ability to monitor and evaluate student achievement and report results.
- High level classroom management.
- Honest and open.
- Receptive to change.
- Creative, reflective and analytical.
- Aware of the importance of work/life balance.
- Passionate for teaching.
- Have a sense of humour.
