Talent Acquisition Manager in London

Job description

We are looking for a pro-active, driven and passionate Talent Acquisition Manager to join the Pandora HR team. If you thrive off successfully identifying, attracting and engaging top talent to a successful and fast-paced retail business, then this is the role for you. Taking on a brand new position in the business, this person will lead talent acquisition across Pandora UK & Ireland. The role will business partner with our London head office of 70 and a retail network including over 150 retail stores.

The person
We are looking for someone who will confidently lead & execute the attraction, hiring and retention strategy for the business.  This person will need to be commercially minded, engaging, a true champion for our employer brand, which they will help shape.  To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized, self-motivated with strong stakeholder management experience.

Job responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end management of a highly diverse portfolio of head office and retail vacancies.   This includes all aspects; assessing team requirements, supporting role profile creation, adverts, screening and interviewing candidates, all the way through to onboarding
  • Deliver a second-to-none and on brand candidate experience, acting as a true Pandora employer brand ambassador
  • Business partner with all hiring managers to accurately assess their talent requirements and advise on the best hiring strategy accordingly.  Work closely with the hiring managers at each stage in the process, including coach and training them on hiring best practice
  • Ensure the talent acquisition strategy is aligned and fully supports the business strategy, including effective prioritization of vacancies against commercial needs and meeting fast turn-around deadlines without compromising on quality
  • Work closely with the UK & Ireland HR team on resource planning and offer proposals to best support business needs
  • Explore the right recruitment channels and tools to find the best candidates in a cost-effective manner.  Review and standardize the agencies’ terms across the UK
  • Work globally; partner with the global Pandora T&A team, based in Copenhagen.  Participate in the global projects to support the delivery of the overall TA strategies

Role Requirements:

  • University graduate or equivalent, with around 8 years’ solid recruitment experience in hiring various seniority, previous experience gained from retail and/or premium FMCG industry is highly preferable
  • Good working knowledge of local employment law is required
  • Strong business acumen and able to build relationships with all stakeholders
  • Self starter, a true team player with can-do attitude
