Understand markets, competition and customer/user requirements in depth to identify the product strategy. Providing vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create the requirements
Able to translate client feedback into actionable work for further developing the product
Maintains high level technical knowledge of existing and emerging technologies
Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI; this means being able to write clear and detailed requirements, typically as user stories and epics
Understanding and prioritising backlog items so that the team is always working on the highest customer value tasks
Be a clear communicator of product decisions and the rationale behind them. Be comfortable in making decisions without consensus
Participate in daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives
Analyse the impact of product features, decide how to measure whether something is a success or a failure then provide insight so we can continue to improve the product in the right direction
Lead product demos to customers and gather client feedback
Support the development team with any questions they may have
Able to take on the responsibilities of a Scrum Master
Competent with JIRA and other necessary tools.
Track record in building high value products
Minimum two years working as part of an agile team in a client facing role such as a business analyst, product owner or engineer
Experience in presenting to customers and stakeholders
High level knowledge of emerging technologies and practices
Experience writing user stories
Experience researching solutions and ideas
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be meticulous and organised
Eligible to live and work in the UK
Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner
Experience building backlogs and developing product roadmaps
Experience in agile development tools, such as Jira and Confluence
Awareness of non-functional requirements such as security, performance and deployment strategies
