The Role
Our dedicated Corporate IT Team are clearly focused to monitor and maintain our computer systems, in our various offices – globally. We have high technical skills/powers - an essential resource that ensures business continuity to Proofpoint’s operation in the region and ultimately worldwide. They are a small team of professionals who really do ‘keep the lights on. We provide and support the vital framework that allows our entire business to run. Without us the engineers couldn’t code, the support team couldn’t assist customers, and the digital risk team wouldn't be able to complete their tasks. We understand the impact of IT issues on the different teams we have and look to always do our due diligence on systems in general before staff come to us with an issue. We support productivity, keeping teams functioning, giving them trust that there IT is up to the job during important times.
What you'll do:
Rebuilding Mac Books, Windows laptops – repairing – in Critical care initiative
Reviewing/Testing new/existing IT Processes – written or video
Managing local Mobile phone hardware/allocation
Pro-Actively interacting with staff in Office – reporting any issues/requests in our "JIRA" system

Candidate Profile
You have the ability and interest in working full time (40 hours/week) in our Belfast, NI office and are currently on track to achieve 2:1 degree classification upon graduation (2020 new college grads also eligible). This summer internship is scheduled to run for 11 weeks from June – August 2020.
