As part of our expanding Partnerships Team, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Partnerships, and will be responsible for increasing Elemental’s growing network of customers.
You will have a proven track record in business development support and will have experience in generating leads and opportunities for our Business Development Managers.

We are looking for a motivated individual seeking to start their career in the tech for good industry. The position is based in our headquarters in Derry/Londonderry. Your key responsibilities will include:
Generating, qualifying and processing new sales leads
Responding and dealing with new inbound sales leads and carrying out demos
Follow-ups with prospects and carrying out demos of our platform online
Database building
Meeting with other departments to build product and project knowledge
Attending events
Providing any necessary data or reports to the sales team
Market Research
Proposal writing
Sales admin
Staying up to date with industry knowledge and trends in health, housing, Local Gov, VCSE and prison care
Essential Criteria | Skills Required:
Entry level sales person, ideal for a candidate with a strong desire to progress within the field of professional sales – ongoing training and mentoring will be provided throughout
Ability to work to call and appointment generation targets as set by the Head of Partnerships (KPIs).
Must have a confident telephone manner and strong organisational skills.
Ability to write professional customer correspondence via email and proposal templates
Will be required to work unsupervised at times but possess the self-discipline to adhere to pre-set KPIs
Ensure the company CRM (including sales pipeline) is always up-to-date and correct
Technology proficient – will require aptitude in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. May be a requirement to carry out online demos when required
Willingness to learn about industry standards, protocols, competitive landscape and company products/services
Flexibility to support the business at industry events when required – either as a delegate or exhibitor
Ensure an appropriate personal brand is conveyed via LinkedIn to support business development activities
This role may require occasional travel but is mainly based in Derry.
