Together, we make millions of products a year in our 18 manufacturing sites, allowing us to focus on what our customers want: good quality, fresh food and great value.  We are recruiting for a number of different Supply Chain Specialist covering lots of categories within our agile and fast-paced Supply Chain team. 
 
As a Supply Chain Specialist at Morrisons you’ll be taking ownership for outstanding availability at store, depot and item level in designated product categories whilst monitoring stock and waste targets to minimise cash impacts to the business.

What this role will be doing…    
  • Placing regular orders for stock in line with pre-agreed forecasts, making sure we achieve optimum availability for the customer       
  • Gathering data on products to analyse trends and forecast sales for upcoming promotions, events or range refreshes 
  • Reviewing supplier performance
  • Assess how best to maximise customer availability using the system to identify trends quickly

About You
So that you are set for success, we are looking for a self-starter, who is an exceptional communicator with the ability to influence at all levels. You will work as part of a versatile team with a can-do culture, so it’s important that you are tenacious and committed to providing an outstanding service. 
  • Excellent commercial acumen and a can-do attitude 
  • Experience of data analysis and subsequent decision making 
  • Experience of stock/sales forecasting and replenishment in a FMCG business (Desirable) 
  • Knowledge of forecasting, data analysis and stock control or an insatiable curiosity and willingness to learn 
  • Retail, seasonality and promotional cycles experience (Desirable)
