Bank Mental Health and Learning Disability Staff Nurses - COVID-19 in Brighton

Job description

We are a large NHS Mental Health Trust in South East England and are looking for people to help us provide high quality services for the patients, carers and local communities that we serve.

We want patients and staff to recommend our organisation as a place where they would be happy for their friends and family to be treated. You can help us to do this by bringing your skills, experience and commitment to Sussex Partnership.

Sussex Partnership is an equal opportunities employer, with a sincere commitment to our people’s health and emotional wellbeing and as such, we have signed the Time to Change pledge and provide a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme.

In addition, our workforce is currently under-represented by people from Black and Minority Ethnic and Disabled communities. We welcome applications from people of these communities as we want our workforce to reflect the communities we serve.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has rated our services good, following their most recent inspection, and outstanding in the caring domain.

Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses

We provide mental health and learning disability services to adults, children and young people across East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, and children's services in Hampshire. We have been awarded an overall rating of ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and assessed ‘outstanding’ for being caring. We offer the following services:

  • Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
  • Community Mental Health Teams
  • Inpatient Services
  • Specialist services, such as perinatal mental health and early intervention in psychosis
  • Secure and Forensic Services
  • Lindridge Care Community (for both RMNs and RGNs)
  • Dementia Services
  • Learning Disability and Neurobehavioural Science

As a Trust we make a positive difference to thousands of people’s lives across Sussex and Hampshire, providing support so that they can fulfil their potential and enjoy healthy lives. We believe that staff who feel valued by the Trust and are truly engaged in the organisation deliver better outcomes for our patients and we are always looking for people with the right core values to join our team. The Trust is clinician-led, and provides the highest possible level of clinical expertise throughout its services.

Our vision is to provide outstanding care and treatment you can be confident in. To achieve the highest standards we have already embarked on a programme to transform the culture of the Trust to one of continuous improvement, delivered through participation of all staff and with service users, carers and families at the heart of our efforts.

If you're interested in more than one role, or if you're not sure where you want to work, that's fine. All you have to do is apply once and we'll match you to the roles that suit you based on what you tell us in your application.

This post offers The Trust's Golden Hello for band 5 or 6 Nurses, or a Relocation package up to a maximum of £2000. (pro rata applies and subject to terms and conditions. Please see attached Protocol document).
