Biomedical Assistant - COVID-19 in Coventry

The Microbiology department at Queens Hospital, Burton-on-Trent has a full time vacancy for a band 3 Biomedical Assistant. This post is to support the department's Biomedical Scientist workforce with non-interpretive tasks. Pathology services at Burton form part of the Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology services network.

The main duties of these posts will include data entry of samples onto the LIMS system, preparation and primary processing of samples, receipt of deliveries, handling of stores/consumables and waste management including autoclaving. Other duties include helping with susceptibility testing and use of laboratory automation.
