For a qualified nurse this role offers the opportunity for wide-ranging development. Working as part of a nurse-led team, you’ll provide exceptional care for those suffering from both traumatic and non-traumatic brain and spinal injuries, as well as support for those with long-term neurological conditions. It’s a rewarding, challenging and varied role, where there’ll be plenty of opportunity to build on your experience. As well as developing skills in tracheotomy and ventilation you’ll deliver a range of treatments for those with spinal and acquired brain injuries.

ABOUT YOU
you’ll be equipped with a current NMC registration and evidence of continued professional development and a mentor or supervision qualification. Ideally, you will need Experience in long term ventilation management.You will be trained and supported in complex postural management, tracheostomy management including changing and replacement as well as gastronomy and management.Administer medication, surgical dressings, catherisation, tube feeding and any other relevant tasks required.
