Area Director - West Yorkshire in Leeds

We are looking for an experienced senior management professional with experience in leading teams of managers in the Care Home sector.

This role will entail line managing a group of around 12 Homes across the Leeds and Huddersfield areas, which offer various types of care.

We are looking for someone to drive the area forward to ensure quality outcomes for Residents and providing effective leadership to Home Managers to help them achieve their performance targets in quality and commercial metrics. This will be achieved by building strong and positive relationships with local stakeholders.

We need someone with proven longevity in a previous role and company, similar to that of HC-One and who is able to hit the ground running.

You will work closely and report in to the Managing Director and will have the support of the Area Quality Director and Support Teams to ensure success and improvements across your Homes.

• Leadership of a group of Home Managers and Senior Home Manager/s to deliver the highest quality of care and best return for investors
• Supporting and developing Home Managers to develop a high performing team that achieves excellent standards in every home.
• Working with support colleagues to facilitate delivery of your SLA with them and thereby ensuring the delivery of the targets in your Area.
• Developing HC-One’s reputation with commissioners and external professionals to ensure the homes in your Area are the number one choice in their communities.
• Working with Senior Home Manager/s to help them mentor new Home Managers and support existing Home Managers to deliver best practice
• Recognising indicators of poor performance or poor quality and acting quickly to remedy
  
• Working systematically with Home Managers and project managers to develop and deliver each Home’s business plan
