Job description

The primary function for the Barclaycard Payments Services is to support the Global Payments Acceptance business and in doing so running payment transactions for 30% of the UK high street, adding business value by leveraging technology solutions and payments domain / industry knowledge. The tower also operates across Barclaycard and the wider bank providing payment solutions where the other business units are acting as a merchant or in the operation of authorisations and settlement routing.


As a Delivery Lead, you’ll be owning the end to end delivery of the Merchant Services Digital Portfolio with a strategic investment of between £1m-15m SI for Barclaycard Change Management customers.

Working with VP Delivery Manager, managing the change project to facilitate transition to the target state and decrease a project's deployment risks
Identifying change structure roles and responsibilities, assessing and classifying impacts of the change on stakeholders and stakeholder group
Defining the appropriate change initiatives to manage the impacts of the change and developing and updating the Change Plan
Engaging stakeholders, from both the Business and Technology in the change effort and ensuring they are ready to adopt the coming changes, measuring and reporting change 
Chairing regular progress reviews of the project and reporting progress
Communicating the change to relevant stakeholders within Barclays at all levels of seniority, some of whom may not be impacted in a positive way
Project manage all aspects of a change project, including project planning, estimating, budgeting, resource allocation, financial management and time management
Managing the relationship with our external suppliers of business and technology resource on the project, in order to establish the best possible outcome for the Bank

Project or Delivery Management, including evidence of Managing Resources, Budgets and Reporting within a technology driven environment
Experience of delivering change 
Strong Stakeholder Management skills and in particular, Communication to and Presentation to stakeholders
An understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks, processes, practices and how to apply them

Experience or qualification in Agile Methodology would be preferable or similar working experience
Industry experience in Financial Services and ideally Banking
