What are you going to do:
An e-commerce start-up is looking for an intern to help grow a new and expand online retailer. As the first team member, you would have a real opportunity to help a young business started in lockdown grow into something exciting.
Roles & Responsibilities: -
- Grow and engage with the social media community.
- Deliver creative campaigns on social media and email; writing posts to drive engagement and sales.
- Liaise with leads to convert sales. Understand the sales funnel.
- Sourcing and purchasing stock.
- Packaging and sending parcels, managing inventory.
Training will be provided on all of the above by the founder who is a qualified marketeer with 10 years' experience in marketing roles prior to starting the business. A great first role for someone looking to gain an understanding of the world of marketing.
The ideal candidate:
- Someone with a passion for sales, marketing, and business with a desire to grow in this field.
- An interest in Premiership football.
- Able to use Instagram and Microsoft Office.
- Good customer service skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
The role will begin an unpaid internship but I am keen to evolve the role into a paid position for the right candidate ASAP as the business grows.
