Elastic Search Developer (8342) in London

The right candidates for these roles will know Elasticsearch and will have experience with .Net (various levels of experience will be considered), C#, .Net Core, Asp.Net, MVC, REST, SOLID, NoSQL and AWS or other cloud providers. Apache Kafka experience is a big plus. We'll also entertain polyglots and problem solvers with JavaScript, TypeScript and Java in place of C#. You will have experience with cloud computing and designing and developing retail, eCommerce and omnichannel solutions from scratch. You are not dogmatic and know how to develop and deploy quickly and iteratively in cross-functional teams.

Required:

• Professional experience with Elasticsearch
• Professional experience with C#. .Net Core, Asp.Net, REST API development, or comparable mix of technologies (see above).
• Professional experience with NoSQL databases, AWS or other cloud provider

Preferred:

• Experience with SQL and Relational DBMS
• Experience with agile methodologies including; Scrum, Kanban
• A degree in CS, IT, science or equivalent experience, and;
• Professional experience in a comparable role

• Develop, maintain and monitor robust applications (UI to Database, and integrations)
• Support and enhance the applications, services and algorithms developed by this team and others
• Integrate with other services in a service-oriented architecture
• Architect with, and develop on cloud services (AWS)
• Work closely in cross-functional teams
  • With other developers, on same team and throughout the organization
  • With data scientists, program and product managers, executives (up to CTO)
  • In an asynchronous way, with teams in London, Nuneaton, Chicago and India
