Occupational Health Nurse Advisor - COVID-19 in Preston

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated Registered Nurse (Adult) with NMC level 1 registration, and a higher qualification in Occupational Health (OH) nursing, for example diploma / degree (or working towards this) or significant experience working in an Occupational Health setting.

You should possess a broad range of clinical and occupational health nursing experience. You should have excellent communication skills and be confident to undertake both face to face and telephone consultations. You will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills as our clinical records are computer based.

You will be required to be flexible in your approach to work and be able to occasionally work outside of core hours. Primarily based at Wigan lnvestment Centre, the successful candidate may also be required to work at other locations, including Preston and Bolton sites, with possible occasional off-site work to other locations. Therefore the successful candidate will ideally be a driver with use of a car for work.

• Confident using IT systems with accurate and efficient data entry skills
• Ability to manage own caseload
• Work to deadlines, have good time management, organisational skills and demonstrate initiative
• Evidence of continuing education and professional development
• To be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months from start date. Workig hours Monday - Friday 8:30m - 4:30pm
