The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is one of the largest NHS Trusts in the West Midlands providing primary, acute and community services. Black Country Pathology Services, hosted by Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust requires a number of bank MLA's to support with an increase in workload, particularly within the Microbiology laboratories. New Cross Hospital is the Hub site, but this requirement is for flexible applicants who can work across all Black Country sites including Sandwell General, Birmingham City Hospital, Russells Hall Hospital and Walsall Manor Hospital. Working hours will be various and likely to be between 08:00 until 22:00.

Duties include general laboratory duties including the sorting, labelling and racking of specimens and patient data entry onto the laboratory computer system and also the processing of these specimens.

Applicants will have GCSE English, Maths and Science at grade A-C or equivalent qualification and will display accuracy and attention to detail. It is desired but not essential that candidates will have previous laboratory experience
