About The Role

We’ve got an opportunity for a Service Delivery Technology Specialist to join our Digital Customer Experience Technology team, based at our support centre in Bradford. It's an exciting time to join this fast paced work environment.


You will work in an integral role supporting colleagues across the business. This role will involve working in a fast paced environment where you will be responsible for providing remote support on Technology within sites/support office. 


Here at Morrisons you will do the following:

 
  • Service support with the ability to maintain SLAs    
  • Drive and escalate breached incidents and problem records
  • Incident support & problem management
  • Engage and lead on Google Communities support
  • Take ownership of issues by coordinating across multiple suppliers to resolve
  • Stakeholder engagement, including external suppliers/contractors
  • Ownership of incident/issue updates to business teams and stores/sites  
  • Provide clear direction to customers (colleagues)
  • Input into service ways of working with the Service Delivery Managers  
  • Support the business, sometimes outside of the usual core working hours for which time off in lieu will be available
About You

To succeed in the role, you should have:


  • Good planning, prioritisation and decision making skills
  • Knowledge of Logistics/Manufacturing sites processes to be able to provide credible advice & respond (highly desirable)
  • Awareness of technology (not essential to have a technology background as training will be provided)
  • The ability to understand customers requirements and respond to their feedback  
  • The ability to deliver excellent customer service every day
  • The ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills
  • A dynamic and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • The ability to deliver under pressure and in situations of ambiguity
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to provide solutions
  • Commercial understanding

 

Ways of Working

The wellbeing of our colleagues is really important to us and we want everyone to have a great home and work life balance. Because of this we've introduced a four day working week for all full time colleagues based at our support centre in Bradford.

You’ll be able to flex your working hours around the core hours of 10am-4pm, and can choose to do different hours each day as long as you’re covering these core hours. Each four day week will contain four average nine hour days

We've also recognised the benefits of working across six days including Saturdays. To be more competitive and support our stores and sites more effectively, we now work over a six day operation, Monday to Saturday inclusive, and everyone in Hilmore now works one Saturday in every four (or 13 a year), albeit Saturday will be a shorter working day of 6 hours.

Your non-working day will need to fit in with the business needs so more information about this and which day you'd take off will be discussed at your interview.
