The IT Service department is looking for an IT Apprentice to join their team in Exeter.
The Trust provides IT support to its entire staff (over 4,000) and is looking for enthusiastic and courteous staff that would be able to offer excellent Customer Service to our non-technical users.
We are looking for someone who is looking to understand how a busy IT department provides support to 4,500 users spread across 7 counties.
This is an entry level into the world of IT we are after an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is willing to learn as they start in their career in IT.
There will be opportunities to work with the IT ServiceDesk, desktop and server support engineers, plus interaction with network and telephony teams.
You will also be required to provide a range of admin support functions, including receipt of goods and delivery of hardware to ambulance stations.Applicants must have GCSE’s (Grade C or above) or equivalent, including English and Mathematics, and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows Operating Systems.
An IT-related qualification would be beneficial.
