The Neurology Department and Mardon Neuro-rehabilitation Centre have a vacancy for an Administrative Apprentice. The successful candidate will form part of a large friendly team who, together, ensure the essential service of providing Neurology and Multiple Sclerosis (MS) outpatient clinics as well as inpatient facilities and services for individuals with acquired neurological conditions.
The successful candidate will provide support to the administration team with general clerical duties to ensure the smooth running of the service which enhances patient care.
You will also undertake the Intermediate Apprenticeship course leading to a qualification at the end of the year. The Intermediate Apprenticeship is a 12 month programme which includes: Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service, Functional Skills in Mathematics and English at Level 1, Employment Rights and Responsibilities Workbook and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills.
Please note that this role will be split over two sites, The Mardon Neuro-Rehabilitation Centre and the main RD&E Wonford site. As such, the role is quite physically demanding and will include periods of time on your feet, walking distances or lifting.
