Our District Nursing team is looking for a dynamic and motivated nurse to join our friendly, professional, busy team based in Wheatley/Watlington. We look after each other and at times may support or wider team across South Oxfordshire. Our location enables easy access to Oxford, Reading and London. This is a fulltime post, we would also consider some flexibility in hours to work part-time. Please call us to discuss.

We welcome both experienced community nurses, nurses who wish to move into Community Nursing or newly qualified nurses. We recognise that many nursing skills are transferable and that if you have a commitment to learn we will support you in your role.

We are a pro-active District Nursing locality and are currently involved in the development of a more neighbourhood style of working, particularly working more closely with GPs and other health and social care professionals to deliver a more seamless patient pathway. Many of our patients are older and often have complex health needs. This role will be an opportunity to maintain & develop a wide range of clinical skills.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and will provide Community Nursing care, advice and information to patients and carers. With the aim of maintaining patients in their own homes enabling them to enjoy maximum independence and optimum quality of life. You will be supported closely with a robust induction period.
