Digital Audit Non-PQ

Digital Audit will give you the right blend of technology expertise with a real understanding of how technology relates to business. Our graduate training programme is underpinned by a development framework that will broaden and deepen your knowledge. You'll learn from hands-on coaching and an outstanding variety of work, whilst acquiring business, personal, and technical skills you can use across the network, and throughout your career.

Digital Audit is a specialist team within our Audit practice that combines a mix of technology, data, business and accounting expertise to how we audit clients across all industries. We’re constantly investing in audit technology and the skills of our people to keep up with the rapid pace of change and to deliver trust that is deeper, broader, and more forward-looking.

There are 2 sides to Digital Audit

Auditing Digital You’ll be Auditing our client’s technology to give them assurance that security and controls are in place. This includes infrastructure, Cloud, and applications. You’ll gain an understanding of end-to-end processes and how business applications are utilised, controlled, and optimised.

Digital Auditing You’ll be using our latest tools to help digitise the way we deliver audits through automation, AI, data analytics and innovation. As well as using PwC developed tools and industry leading software to audit our clients.

You'll develop a strong understanding of the role that digital plays in the modern day audit and how new technologies are deployed and controlled within business. In practice, you'll understand and test IT systems and controls, deliver technology enabled audits, including the latest on advanced analytics, process control and automation and the use of innovative tools.

Insurance

At PwC our financial services business units operate nationally from key UK hubs. Our market leading Insurance practice provides audits to a significant number of insurance companies, including listed companies and global groups, across all areas of insurance - Life, Non-Life, Lloyd’s and Broking. Joining our team will give you the opportunity to work with a variety of teams in a sector that has a strong focus on innovation. Our commitment to global relationships means our teams are well-positioned to meet the future needs of audit and will provide you with fantastic opportunities to learn and develop.

Central Commercial Audit

The Central Practice consists of five networked offices in Birmingham, East Midlands, Milton Keynes, Bristol and Cardiff. With a rapidly growing, dynamic marketplace, more than 500 clients and some 600 partners and staff in the region, the Central Audit practice is a great place to build your career. We audit a wide variety of clients from entrepreneurial start-ups through to major public sector organisations, FTSE100 members and large global businesses. You’ll have the opportunity to work on global projects, collaborating with PwC colleagues and clients all over the world to deliver high quality deliverables for our clients.

Banking and Capital Markets

Banking and Capital Markets (B&CM) Audit is our market leading banking audit practice, with an extensive portfolio of flagship clients ranging from global banks to brokers, challenger banks and FinTechs. Joining our team will give you the opportunity to deliver audit services on both large and smaller audits and across a broad range of client roles that align to your interests or give you a new challenge. You’ll be given the opportunity to help many of these clients enhance or transform existing operations and uphold the highest levels of audit quality.

Graduate programme

Our graduate training programme is underpinned by a development framework that broadens and deepens your knowledge. You'll learn from hands-on coaching and an outstanding variety of work, picking up business, personal and technical skills you can use across the network, and throughout your career.

What you'll do

You’ll be providing market leading audit services to an unprecedented range of clients including one of the largest shares of FTSE 100 companies of any UK audit firm. Our clients range from leading multinational companies to start-ups, from family businesses and governments, to charities and private individuals. Within financial services our clients cover industries within banking and capital markets, private equity, insurance, and consumer finance. Our audit helps organisations navigate regulatory complexity while strengthening trust and transparency in their business.

You’ll also study for your professional chartered accounting qualification. You’ll have a lot of support from your team, career coach and buddy to help you achieve this. It’s the variety and opportunity we offer that allows you to develop a broad range of effective business skills and enables our people to excel across the breadth of work Audit offers, both on the training schemes and further on in your career.

What you'll gain

You’ll follow a structured technical training curriculum which will allow you to develop the deeper technical and data skills required as a technology auditor. What you get out of it is the opportunity to build the skills and experience that can open many doors to you, taking your career in whatever direction you choose.

What you'll need

You'll need to have or be on course for a 2.1 degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course for a 2.1 based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.
