LIS Sprint beta-testers (University Testers!) in London

At LIS, we're building a new university to prepare students to tackle some of the most important and complex problems faced by the world today. We have an ambitious vision, so before we launch, we need to battle-test and future-proof the programme.

We're looking for brilliant problem-solvers to join the LIS team on our 11-week interdisciplinary learning Sprint.

This is a unique opportunity to get paid while shaping the future of higher education. Your input and feedback will be crucial in refining not only the delivery of our undergraduate programme in 2021, but also our long term outlook.

During the 11-week Sprint you will…

  • Be exposed to a range of qualitative and quantitative methods like coding, videography, and interviewing techniques
  • Learn from our team of leading academics joining us from Oxbridge, Harvard, and LSE
  • Submit individual and team projects, working to meet assignment deadlines 
  • Gain an insight into how an interdisciplinary approach can be used to tackle complex problems
  • Work collaboratively with the LIS team to test and give feedback on the programme as it unfolds
  • Gain access to the LIS professional network including graduate employers, start-ups, and charities

Who should apply?

  • Students who are currently on a gap year and want to learn new skills while getting paid
  • Mature students considering returning to higher education
  • Students who aren’t 100% sure about committing to 3 years of undergraduate studies in the current climate

  • Prospective students who are considering the 3-year undergraduate programme from Autumn 2021 at LIS

Applicants must be: 

  • At least 18-years of age when the Sprint commences in January 2021
  • Eligible to work in the UK - we are unable to sponsor visas at this time
  • Available for 11 weeks from January 11th until March 26th 2021
  • Fluent in English
