We are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Partner. We welcome applications from those looking to work remotely but please note that our Support Offices are based in Handforth (Cheshire) and Swindon and you will be required to travel to our distribution centres in Northampton and Stoke on Trent.

As a Talent Acquisition Partner you will be responsible for volume hiring across the Pets at Home Distribution Centre’s. You will shape and deliver all attraction and resourcing plans. The role will be responsible for developing new and existing talent acquisition channels and resourcing methodologies to fill gaps, risks and critical skills.

Working with the Head of Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Leads the role will also continuously evolve our proposition to the internal and external market and promote the Pets at Home & Vet Group brand as a destination employer.

Key responsibilities;

Distribution Centre Resourcing

  • Will have full oversight and sourcing responsibility for all Distribution Centres vacancies
  • Will ensure relevant high quality applications are being acquired to fill vacancy gaps. Will improve acquisition and pre-screening process and practice to ensure an expert resourcing service is provided to our DCs.
  • Will work with key stakeholders to continuously improve how we evolve our proposition to attract talent
  • Explore how we tackle hot spot recruitment and put solutions in place
  • Will use technology to improve candidate, recruiter and hiring manager experience.
  • Will work with key partners to develop resourcing solutions.
  • Will engage with key stakeholders on future talent needs, interacting with internal teams to understand internal succession and potential.
  • Will drive forward a direct sourcing model.

Expert Knowledge

  • Will work with Leads to address retention challenges to inform recruitment success.
  • Will continuously develop selection processes to embed best practice techniques.
  • Will intervene with critical recruitment issues / locations and share expert advice and knowledge.
  • Will provide support as necessary as driven by business strategy / projects.
  • Will connect with external experts and networks to build external proposition

Management Information (MI)

  • Will be data driven, producing and analysing trends and reporting to focus on continuous improvement, measuring cost per hire, reduction in agency usage, spend avoidance, activity, and return on Investment (ROI) etc.

Coaching and Education

  • Work with L&D to shape a programme of educational events to enhance and influence hiring manager capability to attract, select and make the best hiring decisions.
  • Owns resourcing best practice, and continually drive this to improve quality of hire

Other

  • Work in partnership with wider team to enhance resourcing development and success.
  • Work on resourcing projects as required.

Skills/Experience required;

  • Volume recruitment experience
  • Experience of working with Distribution Centres is essential
  • In-house Resourcing experience, within a large multi-site or complex organisation.
  • Proven experience of shaping or establishing an effective best practice recruitment and selection service.
  • Experience of working within a direct resourcing model.
  • Evidence of agency spend reduction
  • Confident at managing stakeholders, able to influence and engage others
  • Has established self as an expert in recruitment process and practice.
  • Able to pull together robust talent acquisition plans and strategies
  • Able to deliver upon challenging recruitment Key Performance Indicators
