This will be Blis’ 3rd time when we participate in the STEM work experience program with Workfinder to support female students at the beginning of their journey into a career in tech industries. Workfinder organises such programs once or twice a year - the October one is a tribute to Ada Lovelace Day that happens on October 13th, which is an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The aim of this project is to build a dictionary of data for selected countries across the world to find out:
Please provide a written summary of the country structure, a table outlining each geographical breakdown and links to usable boundaries format (shapefiles, KML, or other).
Provided at the most granular level available - for example, the population counts, average household income, number of vehicles owned, family size, etc. against each postcode sector. You'll be building a data dictionary for all data found, with links to the downloadable datasets or APIs.
