We are inviting West of Scotland 3rd Year student nurses/midwives to join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde‘s Nursing and Midwifery Staff Bank as a Bank Health Care Support Worker (Agenda for Change Band 2).
You must be in your 3rd Year of undergraduate nursing / midwifery studies to be eligible to apply through our fast track Staff Bank Registration route and studying from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s partner Universities at:

As a Bank Health Care Support Worker you will be given the opportunity to choose from a wide range of Early, Day, Night and Weekend shifts available across our adult inpatient wards or the outpatients departments.
Opportunities for bank work are available across all NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Acute hospital locations at:
Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Royal Hospital for Children, Stobhill Ambulatory Care Hospital, Victoria Ambulatory Care Hospital, Gartnavel General Hospital, Institute of Neurological Sciences, Royal Alexandra Hospital, Inverclyde Royal Hospital and the Vale of Level Hospital.
Our Bank HealthCare Support Workers are a vital part of our Nursing and Midwifery workforce and make a real difference every day to our patients and especially so during the current Covid-19 pandemic. It’s a great way to gain more experience and exposure to the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde‘s Acute Hospitals in your final year of study.
