We are looking for Tutors in the core subjects of Maths, English and Science for all levels. Programmes available to teach include Primary, 11+, SATs, GCSE, A-Level, University Degree Subjects, Special Needs and Academic Discipline.With more than 15 years of tutoring experience, Tutor Doctor has helped over 200,000 students of all ages and learning levels. You must therefore be adaptable to different learning styles and have the skills to build up your students’ confidence and motivation to be successful.Responsibilities and Duties as a Tutor: * Deliver high quality 1:1 teaching to students * Create customised learning plans and schedules for each students’ tailored to their strengths and learning style * Make your students a top priority by being flexible and available when needed * Work closely with parents and teachers to keep everyone informed about a student’s progress and needed support * Can take ownership and responsibility for personal actions and projects * Regular meetings with the Education ConsultantWhat you will be offered as a Tutor: * Competitive rates of pay between £15 - £22 per hour, depending on the programme teaching * Support and guidance * Fantastic resources readily available * Able to specify what programmes you would like to teach (dependant on sector specific qualifications) * Be a part of the Tutor AssociationWhat we are looking for in a Tutor:Essential knowledge and requirements: * Sector specific qualifications- qualified to degree level and above is desirable * Subject matter expertise * Flexible and available 7 days a week- mainly during the evenings and school holidays.
