Cleaning Operative- Nights

**FULL DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION**

Hours: 40 hours per week on a TEMPORARY 3 MONTH ROLLING CONTRACT - POTENTIALLY LEADING TO FULL TIME.
Location: Liverpool
Package: £9.00 Per Hour

Mitie has a great opportunity for a Night Cleaner to work for our client Merseyrail's sites based across Merseyside.

Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, the Cleaner will have a key responsibility of ensuring that the premises are kept clean to a high standard.

Main Duties of the Cleaner: 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Carrying out Deep Cleans of Train Crew Depots and M2Go Stores during this COVID19 pandemic.
• May include the use of fogging machines.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly
• Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to your line manager.
• Arrive to work at scheduled time, perform services to established standards.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting.
• To comply with COSHH, Manual Handling, Risk Assessment, and any other Cleaning.

• Trustworthy and reliable
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Cleaning experience is not essential as full training will be give

Health and Safety responsibilities:

• Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system;

Information Security

• Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities;
• Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager;
• Report actual and suspected security incidents;
