    What you’ll do

    Assisting residents with their physical and emotional needs, you will do whatever it takes to help them get the most out of life. More than just a carer, you will be a true friend who champions their dignity and maximises their independence, and you will have an increasingly important part to play in the development of care plans and the induction of new colleagues.

    With broad knowledge of caring for the elderly, you will be able to make a significant contribution from your first day. To succeed, you should be capable of prioritising your own workload, maintaining detailed records and using your initiative to the full, and you will be determined to develop your skills with our support.

    Our care home in Stratford-upon-Avon opened in October 2013 and is located on the outskirts of this bustling and historic town. Ambleside is just a short bus ride into Stratford-upon-Avon's town centre and its many shops and attractions.

    Ambleside is a purpose-built care home with all the latest facilities and a focus on luxurious living. On the ground floor, close to our reception you’ll find a number of unique features.

    You can catch a film in our cinema or enjoy a slice of cake and a chat in our light and spacious coffee shop. There’s even a contemporary hair salon where a stylist pampers and helps residents to look their best
