Job Title: Graduate Production ManagerSalary £20,000 to £21,000.00 dependant on experience Location:DoncasterOVERVIEW: My client has become the leading food specialist manufacturing company in the UK, supplying meals and components to the retail trade, food service industry and other manufacturers. Founded in 1985 they have consistently grown and developed as a business and are now seeking a Graduate Production Manager to join their diverse, passionate and hard working team.Due to growth of the business my client is seeking to add a Graduate Production Manager to join their business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high calibre Graduate Production Manager to work alongside highly experienced Production Management team based in Doncaster.This position would be suitable for a Graduate Production Manager who is seeking to be nurtured and developed within a forward thinking and growing company.THE ROLE:In time your job will be to manage and oversee the day to day running of the shift. Ensuring that quality, integrity, legalities, food safety and health & safety procedures are followed and maintained at all times.*Take full responsibility for the day to day running of the shift, ensuring the Health & Safety of all colleagues whilst maintaining and making improvements in all areas*Ensure that quality, integrity, legalities, food safety and health & safety procedures are followed and maintained at all times*Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with site GMP*Coach, develop and lead staff & establish a continuous improvement culture*Monitor and communicate the site plan, performance KPI's and targets ensuring that all colleagues are striving to achieve the same goal*Control and report on line efficiency, yield, waste, downtime, and labour utilisation*Continuously identify ways to reduce costs & improve standards & efficiency in all areas*Lead by example, demonstrating high standards of behaviour, honesty & integrity - develop & support people through coaching and feedback.*Investigate and report all incidents (accidents, poor performance, etc.) *Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement, including compiling investigations and issuing discipline*To assist in Audits such as BRC, EHO, HSE and Customer visits etc.*To ensure security of facilities during out of hours *To ensure effective communications take place *Complete all relevant paperworkHours of Work: 10.00 am to 19.00pm - 35 minute break.
