Delivery Driver - CarlisleDelivery Driver - PCS Logistic Partners is searching for Delivery Drivers to deliver small parcels to domestic addresses across the local area. It is a friendly team environment where you will also benefit from 'being your own boss' as a professional delivery driver with 'key worker' status.Key Duties:Upon collection all the parcels will have been pre-sorted and will be ready to be loaded and delivered - drivers will benefit from having pre-planned routes which are pre-programmed into a sat nav system each morning. Any undelivered parcels will be dropped with a member of the PCSLP team at the end of the shift who will return them to the depot on your behalf.What is on offer:Paid Training - structured training is provided to all new starters, this includes a full induction and building up experience on smaller rounds meaning that no previous delivery driver experience is necessary - you will receive full pay whilst working on training routes.Van Hire Available - a short wheelbase van can be provided at a cost of £100 per week (van only) or £195 per week for a van with all the necessary courier insurances.Owner Drivers - it is possible to provide your own van.Mileage Paid / Fuel Card - all business mileage is paid for by the company plus a company fuel card is available to both owner drivers and those taking advantage of the van hire scheme.Hours - working days are planned to 9 hours; this includes loading time, travel time and break time. Your working day finishes when you complete your route and you will not be required to return to the depot at the end of the shift.Salary & Bonus - the salary is £144 a day; the average basic wage is £2,960 to £3,450 a month depending on the amount of days worked (5-6 to 6 days a week average). Drivers have the potential to earn an extra £520 a month in performance related bonuses taking potential earnings to £3,960 a month.Self Employed - we partner with a professional accountancy company who specialise in providing accountancy services to the logistics sector. They can assist you in registering for self-employment, they can submit quarterly VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns on your behalf. They will also process invoices and payslips and calculate all allowable expenses to ensure you maximise the advantages of holding self-employed status.Requirements:We are looking for individuals with a minimum age of 25, you must hold a Driving Licence (6 points or less) and be able to pass a drug and alcohol test. We do not charge for the drug and alcohol test or CRB check.
