Client DetailsMy client is a global trading firm that specializes in trading equities, futures and FX.DescriptionKey responsibilities of this Junior Proprietary Trader position:* Support equity trading strategy in Asia; also US and Europe coverage as needed* Actively trade across equity in the global market* Assist in development of trading models* Work with trading team to implement and test trading strategies* Monitor and report on trading performance* Assist in implementing and testing updated algorithms* Ad hoc projectsProfileSuccessful candidate for this Junior Proprietary Trader position will display the following:* Degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Physics or Computer Science preferred from an internationally recognised univerisity* 1 years of experience working as a trader in proprietary trading firms* Proven track record of performance in trading* Proficient in VBA and Python, working knowledge of Linux is a plus* Self-starter that can lead and work independently* Must be able to balance many tasks, be a strong decision maker, and maintain high ethical integrity* Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative overseas startup* Good command of spoken and written English; Proficiency of a second language is a plus* Able to start working in 2021Job OfferThis is a chance to join a growing quantitative trading firm and build a successful career in proprietary trading
