Transactional Finance Assistant
Full-time, Up to £20,000 per annum

As a Transactional Finance Assistant, you’ll report to the Assistant Transactional Finance Manager and will be responsible for managing the Rent and Service Charge processes, as well as providing support across the Accounts Payable function.

The role will suit someone highly motivated, hard-working and looking to join a busy and high performing Finance Team. Accuracy and attention to detail will be key to being successful in the role.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Rents - Responsibility for Rent Invoicing on a monthly and quarterly basis and working with our Finance Accounts Assistant and Management accountant to ensure full control of the property data in our property management system under IFRS16 standards. Ensuring all rent invoices are entered into SAP and paid accurately.
  • Service Charge – working closely with our 3rd party consultants to ensure we pay the correct service charge and help deal with any Landlord queries.
  • Landlord Insurance – check/code and pay Landlord Insurance Invoices based
  • Property Master Database –Working with the Finance Accounts Assistant on a daily/weekly basis to ensure accurate portfolio details are maintained, including Landlord and managing agent details on a site by site basis.
  • Working with Landlords/Managing Agents to complete regular Statement Reconciliations
  • Working closely with the Central Finance and Control team.

Skills/Experience Required;

  • You will possess strong PC skills and must be competent in using Microsoft Packages, particularly Excel and Word
  • You must be well organised and have the ability to prioritise your own workload
  • You will have good interpersonal skills with a confident ability to communicate both internally and externally
  • Be flexible and able to cross train to provide support in all areas of the Accounts Payable function.
