If you are an experienced Hospital Director with a history of success within Mental Health services who is looking for a new opportunity to put your mark on a brand-new hospital opening April 2021, then apply today. 

Pinhoe View is a new purpose-built facility where a range of mental health services are provided for adults with acute mental health conditions across two wards and eight individual flats. Located in Pinhoe, Exeter, it is part of a cluster of Elysium services across the South West that work closely together in support of each other.

As Hospital Director, you will lead and manage a diverse multi-disciplinary clinical and administrative workforce, ensuring excellent care is delivered and operational performance is maintained. 

The Hospital Director role involves: 
 
  • Continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers
  • Ensure quality and financial targets are met, and facilitate the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of purchasers and service users, and also reflect market trends and evidence-based practice
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the hospital, ensuring adherence to the hospital’s objectives and business plan
  • Promote and enhance the hospital’s reputation for care and service.
To be successful as Hospital Director, you will need:
 
  • An excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare sector (essential), together with an understanding of mental health issues and a passion for improving clinical quality and patient care.
  • Strong commercial acumen, in order to support successful service delivery and development, people management, budget control, business development, and revenue generation.
  • An inclusive and supportive management style balanced with strong leadership, is a critical factor in the success of this role, in order to provide direction and implement change.
