We are looking for a college graduate who has just completed an Electrical of Electronic NVQ at College that our client can train to their standardsThis is a Bristol based role predominantly with travel to clients along the M5 corridorYou would essentially be the 2nd man in an Installation team or a Maintenance team so you can learn all aspects of the business, getting your hands dirty every day, but also been trained to system programming using a laptop App's, etc.Once you become a Graded 2 Engineer you will be well qualified to undertake any fire and security works required, and will then be provided with your own transport, etc.Starting salary £18-20k once qualified after 12-24 months then the salary will be £24k-ishYou must have a driving licenceMust be adept in use of MS Office 2007 or later, particularly Excel and Word, and ideally Access or similar database to basic level, Internet and email.Personality:Ability to work independently and to achieve a successful installation.A positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality installations and Client service.Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality installations and Client service.Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with Clients at all levels.Reliable, tolerant, and determined.Must be a good communicator and be willing to learn the skills need to see things from the other person's point of view.Well-presented and professional at all times in dealings with colleagues, management and Clients.Sufficiently mobile and fit to carry out the physical requirements of installing and maintaining systems.Flexible to travel daily within the UK, although most work is within a 50-mile radius and travelling out of this area is rare.Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability.
