Our family of 4,500 colleagues throughout the UK, have recognised us as a Sunday Times Top 30 Best Big Companies to work for.Family and values is what makes us different, and we are a proud bunch - join us and you too could be proud to be Warburtons.It is an exciting time to be joining our Learning team, our business is transforming, and we have recently made changes to develop a learning culture that supports this through building the desired behaviours and capabilities of our teams.As a Learning Delivery Specialist, you will work in collaboration with the Management and HR teams across our sites to identify development needs, designing and delivering engaging solutions, using blended approaches, to meet the learners needs.Technology will play a key role in the future and we have recently launched a Learning Management System (LMS) to support this.We will look to you to champion the Learning and Development agenda across the region, working with our site trainers in manufacturing and distribution supporting them to ensure all operational and health & safety training requirements are met and delivered consistently with excellence.The role will be focused on both developing the people management fundamentals of our line managers and ensuring we develop the core skills and competencies across all operational teams.Essential Ingredients: * Experience in Learning and Development in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment. * A passion for learning, seeking opportunities to learn, improve and innovate. * Expert facilitator of Group face to face and virtual learning and ability to engage different learner styles, preferably with a relevant professional qualification. * Ability to use coaching and mentoring approaches in learning. * Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to promote the value of a learning culture. * Credible and impactful communicator. * Excellent knowledge of the learning cycle and experience in its implementation. * Experience of developing people manager capability. * Ability to develop and deliver learning and development plans, covering both behavioural and job-specific skills, ideally within an operational, compliance focussed environment. * Experience of working with learning technologies and embrace a range of blended learning solutions. * Excellent planning and organisational skills.Living within commutable distance to either our Wakefield or Newcastle sites, you will have the flexibility to travel and work across the sites located in the North East and Yorkshire.Extra DoughAt last and by no means yeast you will want to know what your breads worth. * Family time is important to us so as well as your holiday entitlement, we'll give you the opportunity to buy-back an extra 5 days holiday. * A profit share bonus. * An award-winning pension plan. * Medical Insurance. * Life assurance. * Retail discount vouchers. * Benefits for you and the family for example; Discounted gym membership, Ride to work scheme. * Continued investment in your personal development
