They are now looking for an experienced Delivery and Compliance Manager (field based) to join the team.Job Summary:To take ownership for the delivery of geographic projects for the company. Providing organisation and management of in house and contract resource to complete the projects safely and effectively. The role holder will tenaciously seek to resolve any problems that may occur through the course of the project, escalating when needed to ensure that all projects deliver to their programme and financial targets.Job Responsibilities: Management of day to day project delivery within a geographical area, including delivery to requirements, safety, quality, street works and supplier performance Drive a “Safety First and “Right First Time” culture across the field operations Manage and lead FTE field engineers responsible for ongoing civils and cabling contracts Ensure accidents, incidents and near misses, quality failures and service deterioration trends are investigated competently and corrective action is taken where and when appropriate Through a close working relationship with the PMO and Build teams, identify at the earliest opportunity risks to delivering the project Manage the operational relationship with all suppliers and have monitoring in place to ensure that the Company’s standards are adhered to and met All direct reports to have clear performance objectives and regular 1:1 meetings Manage staff, oversee work schedules and assign specific duties accordingly Deliver a quality service to the client ensuring that performance standards and contractual KPI’s are met Carry out regular audits to ensure the highest standard of safety, service and workmanship is being achievedKnowledge and Skills: Minimum of 3 years supervisory and management experience with the utilities industry Proven track record of successfully managing teams, including contractor partners Civils project experience including both the field and back office elements, i.e. noticing Ability to understand, manage and deliver KPI’ s Ability to lead, motivate and manage field teams Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Innovative, creative and proactive with a solution-oriented approach Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times Full, clean driving licenceEducation and Qualifications: SWQR Supervisor CDM Regulations Manual Handling Asbestos Awareness (Cat A) Environmental Awareness SSSTS Emergency First Aid at Work (1day) SA001 (optional) SA002 (optional)If you are interested in this exciting and challenging permanent position, please contact Lee McCormack directly for more information and to express your interest
