Introduction:

Boeing Defence UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Business Operations Specialist within their Cyber, Intelligence and Analytics team. The role will involve working directly with a National Security customer to support and influence the shape of solutions that are of national importance. This role can be based at either Cheltenham or Central London.

As a Boeing Business Operations specialist you will be at the leading edge of our operational work with the National Security customer, collaborating closely with them in multi-function teams to deliver technology, process or service based solutions to problems of national importance to time, cost and quality. This role can be based at either Cheltenham or Central London.

The Role:

As a Boeing Business Operations Specialist you will be working very closely with our National Security customer to manage the delivery of projects and programmes of national importance. This will involve working directly with the operational practitioner, supported by Boeing Engineering, Business Analysis and Project Management specialists where your role will be to act as the hub and centre of coordination around which success can occur.

To achieve this the ideal candidate will be expected to:
  • Operate successfully in the technology space particularly with Agile practices
  • Deliver or assist with delivery of complex solutions that include, not just, technical upgrades but change to people and process as well
  • rapidly develop your client management skills alongside growing as a Boeing leader and manager
  • Play an active role in guiding the customer as part of a Boeing team


Required Qualifications:
  • Experience of working on technical projects
  • Experience in Policing, Secure Government or Commercial Cyber Solutions


Preferred Qualifications:
  • We welcome applications from candidates who have taken a graduate, further education or apprenticeship route
  • Experience in Cyber, Security & IT projects
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • Experience in Cloud based solutions


Work Authorisation: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom.
