Job Title and Grade: Bank Registered General Nurse – RN00 – Band 5
Location/Trust: Laurel Suite, Stepping Hill Hospital, Poplar Grove, Hazel Grove, Sk2 7JE
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours per week
Dates: 18th January 2021 – 26th March 2021 with possibility of being extended or leading to fixed term contract
Pay Rates (hourly): Days: £20 Saturdays/Nights: £26 Sundays/Bank Hols: £32 – enhanced until 31st January 2021.
The Role:
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse who would like to be part of providing better lives for the service users, working in a fast-paced NHS Foundation Trust?
If you answered yes, then we would love to hear from you as we are looking for Registered Nurses to Maternity Leave in our Laurel Suite at Stepping Hill Hospital.
You will be providing nursing care and advice to patients requiring treatment for malignant and non-malignant haematological disorders. Treatments include administration of IV and oral chemotherapy, Other Anti-Cancer treatments, such as; Monoclonal Therapies, IV immunoglobulins, blood and platelets transfusions, zometa and pamidronate infusions, venesection.
The post holder must possess the ability to work unsupervised following competency assessment and co-ordinate haematology day case in the absence of more senior staff.
