Lodestone Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a great engineering firm close to Oldham and the M62, who are currently looking for a Welder on a permanent basis.
The business has been fortunate to experience a solid 2020 and is now expanding due to further increases in orders.
To be considered for this Welder role you will ideally be able to demonstrate the following:
- Apprentice trained or time served Welder.
- Experienced with MIG and sub arc welding on thick plate and one offs.
- Experience plating working from drawings and marking out would be advantageous.
- Prior experience working on heavy engineering projects for the Oil & Gas, Nuclear or Defence sectors would be ideal.
In return, our client offers the following:
Salary: £27300 - £29250 + overtime paid at x1.5 + company benefits.
Shifts: Regular days.
Hours: 37.5 hr per week with regular overtime available.
Duration: Permanent
