Job description

Audit is the largest of KPMG UK's practices, providing independent challenge and delivering quality audits to organisations of all shapes and sizes. Audit requires a deep understanding of the company, their controls, processes and systems as well as their aims and the risks they face. Audit helps to assure stakeholders that published accounts are 'true and fair’. Working in audit equips you with valuable technical skills, broad commercial understanding and in-depth knowledge of one or more industry sectors and business as a whole.

This programme is aimed primarily at students of Black Heritage seeking an insight into a career in Audit. It’s the perfect opportunity for you to learn more about our business and develop your professional skills – it could even lead to an offer for an autumn 2021 Audit graduate programme. We’re looking for individuals from any degree discipline who are curious, ambitious and passionate about a career in Audit.

During your Insight experience, you’ll have the chance to meet people from Audit who make KPMG an inspiring place to work and explore our variety of opportunities available. Over three days you'll network with our colleagues, learn more about what we do and the difference we make to the companies we work with, and the communities we work in.

Whilst on the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to take an assessment, and if successful, you could secure a position on one of our 2021 graduate Audit programmes. You may be asked to provide a preference for an Audit programme that you’d like to specialise in - the programmes we expect to be available for the Audit Insight programme are as follows:

Please note that although we will do our best to fulfil your preference, we recruit on a rolling basis and cannot guarantee that all programmes will be available at the point you are asked to provide a preference, or in every office location.

Our Black Heritage Talent Insight programme is aimed primarily at students of Black Heritage. By Black Heritage, we mean students who might identify as Black, African, Caribbean, Black British or Mixed/Multiple ethnic groups: White and Black Caribbean, White and Black African.

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline

At KPMG, we look at more than just your academic results. We will review your application, together with your performance in our assessments, to ensure that you have the best opportunity to demonstrate your potential.
