Community Nurse Post;

Initial 12 months of the contract will be with Specialist Pelvic Health Team

This is a distinctive offer open to newly qualified nurses and experienced registered nurses looking to move into community nursing. The Specialist Pelvic Health Team (SPHT) formally the continence team will host you for the initial 12 months of your contract, (part times hours & flexible working will be considered).

As part of the initial of contract protected time will be allocated with other Specialist Services e.g. Tissue Viability, Diabetes, Palliative and EOL and Respiratory Specialist Team. To increase knowledge, skills and confidence and upskill for transition at the end of the initial 12 month to your permanent post within the community nursing teams.

The SPHT covers the whole of Staffordshire and you will be allocated to a Primary Care Network area for most of your case load, you may need to cover for colleagues so a wiliness to travel to clinics and home visits across the county is essential. We have 2 bases; North - Ryecroft Health Centre, Broad Street, Newcastle under Lyme, ST5 2BQ & South - Salters Meadow Health Centre Rugeley Road, Chase Terrace, Burntwood, Staffs WS7 1AQ
