An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join a well respected FM provider, to work on a major healthcare contract in Chelsea on a full time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will mostly be responsible for PPMs and reactive works.
Duties:
* Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, day to day minor repairs and inspections and assist other Engineers to complete their tasks in their own area of responsibility.
* Assist with duties outside of remit, including ground maintenance through seasonal change.
* Work from steps, scaffolding and other heights.
* Assist in running the waste compactor and clinical waste system.
* Participate in additional training for self development where required.
* Carry out any other duties raised by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
* Full Apprentice Served
* Must have Level 3 Competent Electrician and AM2 or equivalent.
* 17th/18th Edition BS 7671
* Fire alarm/nurse call, PASMA and First Aid would be desirable.
Candidate:
* Working in NHS or hospital environment (preferred)
* Ability to work in all areas of a hospital, including theatres, mortuary and the mental health unit.
* You will be required to pass a DBS check.
Please note you may be required to work weekends which will be paid as overtime, in line with company guideline.
