Job description

Do you have an MSc or MEng (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering?

* Have you got experience using software such as ETAP, ERACS, NEPLAN, EMTP, PSCAD, IPSA, DigSilent, PSSE or SKM?

* Is your knowledge of HV protection engineering strong?

We have an exciting opportunity available with a power systems consultancy that has an excellent reputation both for the quality of their output and for being a great place to work. They have recently won a significant number of data centre projects and require someone to perform protection studies using ETAP.

The Graduate Power Systems Engineer will take the lead of their aspect of the project, so it's a great chance to take on additional responsibilities and develop leadership skills.

Furthermore, as this organisation strongly believes in developing its people, there will be opportunities down the line to work on renewable energy and transmission projects.

Knowledge of protection studies (LV or 11kV) is essential as well as a working knowledge of ETAP or similar software and a BEng / MEng / MSc (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or Power Systems Engineering.

I've seen first-hand how great a place to work this consultancy is and this will be a superb career choice for someone with the right background. Don't miss out on this opportunity - apply to Andrew Snelgrove at Deploy today
