GSL are looking to recruit a Science Teacher to teach at a specialist provision in Manchester. Our client is looking for someone who is resilient and flexible. You must be competent and have strong subject knowledge, you must be nurturing and have the ability to care for pupils combined with a significant focus on their emotional and mental health and wellbeing.
Your role will mean joining a team who work tirelessly to create a safe, inclusive and fun environment where children can receive the support they need to help them overcome personal barriers to make progress with their learning.
Candidate:
· Qualified Teacher
· Can Teach Science to KS4 (Biology is a preference)
· Firm but fair
· Patient
· Good sense of humour
· Trained in/ or willing to be trained in Team Teach
School information:
The school we are recruiting for is based in Central Manchester and caters for both Primary and Secondary aged pupils. However, the clients needs are at their secondary site within their Science department. This school in particular caters for young people with additional needs that include SEMH needs, ASC, MLD and at times extremely challenging behaviour.
