The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting the class teacher in delivering subject material to smaller groups of students and helping to manage behaviour when necessary. You may be asked to work specifically with lower ability, SEN or disengaged students on a 1:1 or a small groups basis ti make the work more understandable and engaging for them. Especially towards SATs, you will be helping to plan and tailor booster and intervention sessions for the students. During the rest of this academic year you will observe and understand the demands of teaching in the modern curriculum through the daily support of the class teacher and Senior Leadership Team.
